Hello and Welcome! I am so glad you're here.

My name is RLyn Gross, and my writing is rooted in faith, restoration, and the quiet strength found in life’s hardest seasons. I explore the beauty of redemption and the truth that no life is too fractured for God to restore.

My writing focuses on resilience and God’s ability to redeem broken stories, shaped by the belief that some of the most powerful stories are born from the quiet seasons of life.

I write poetry, essays, devotionals, and fiction, blending thoughtful storytelling with themes of healing, identity, and grace. I believe God is in the business of restoring broken people, and that belief shapes every word I write.

This is a photo of me at 15 years old.

It was taken on a field trip in 10th grade. My writing coach would sometimes take the class to a local cemetery to read headstone inscriptions for inspiration. That may sound weird, but it worked.

I was oblivious to the fact this photo was being taken by a classmate. I was lost in thought, contemplating life and planning the deep thoughts that would come out on paper when I returned to the classroom. This is the me that I am recapturing...the me that has something to say about life.
